Quito and Ecuadors Andean Region

Quito established over 500 years ago, the capital of Ecuador, is located in the interandean corridor, with two distinct areas: the colonial quarter, with its narrow streets, antique architecture houses and wooden balconies, interior patios full of flowers; the nights are full of mystery stories of legends and traditions; churches and convents with sculptures and paintings full of art and history. the northern part of the city shows a modern metropoli with banks and first order services. From the Amazon to the Indian Markets, the Colonial settings to the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador offers a variety of adventure and confort to the travelers in this region. We recommend 3 - 5 days of additional time aside from that spent in the Galapagos. This can either be accomplished before or after your Galapagos trip.
